Thirty-two years after its founding Gilhofer & Ranschburg resumed its activities in Lucerne in 1956 with a an important catalogue of Old Master engravings and woodcuts, as well as incunabula and XVI century books. Since then the firm published over one-hundred book catalogues from various locations in Lucerne until 1988 when it found its home at the present address. We are specialised in early printed books (mainly incunabula and sixteenth century).
